IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System. IELTS is an international test of English language proficiency organized by Cambridge University, British Council and IDP Educational Australia. IELTS was founded in 1989. There are two versions of IELTS, namely:
The academic course is designed for those who want to join in universities and other higher education institutions and for professionals who want to study or practice in an English-speaking country.
The general training course is designed for those intending to obtain work experience or to attend non-academic training, or for immigration purposes such as the B1 english test.
IELTS is allowed by most of the institutions in Australia, UK, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand and Academics in South Africa. Not only that, it is also allowed by more than 3,000 academic institutions in the United States and professional organizations. This is also a necessity for immigration to UK, Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
